Taking IELTS is not easy if you have not been in touch with English for a long time, since language is not what you can master or improve in a short period. Therefore, the best way to help is to live your life in English or at least try merging some English into parts of your daily activities. Reading English newspapers, listening to English audio, sometimes using English to think as an English mindset training, etc. I did try to practise English by joining an exchange program in European countries. Living in English, reading all the things mostly in English, did help to grow and gain my English ability. Besides, it may help if you could be more careful on handling questions in the test, especially paying more attention to the keywords like “one word only/ two words only”, “words from the text”, “What/When/Who/Which/ Where/How”, etc.
For some suggestions on resources, I suggest using the IELTS official website and apps for practising and getting to know the exam format, while ASLLC also provides workshops for students to get familiar with the test!
Good luck to you all and wish you all the best!
